Autumn school "Mechatronics"
The school is designed for students of the graduating classes of lyceums, gymnasiums and schools who wish to get to know the Mechatroinka field better and connect their future professional activities with the creation, research, modernization and operation of mechanical-electronic automated systems of various purposes.
The goal of the school is to acquaint students with the trends in the development of modern automated technology and to form skills for solving simple automation tasks using mechatronics.
According to the proposal of the working committee, it is advisable to organize and hold an autumn school for a period of 1 week during the autumn vacation (approximately from October 31 to November 5, 2016).
Travel, accommodation and stay in Kyiv during the school are covered by the participants themselves. Conducting school classes, including work on equipment and completion of final work, is free of charge for school participants.
The approximate plan of the school provides:
5 working days for 4 hours;
final lesson 2 hours.
The schedule of each working day includes:
1 hour of theoretical material;
1 hour familiarization with laboratory equipment;
1 hour of practical work;
1 hour of work at laboratory stands.
Content of the school:
Electronic automation systems and their components.
Pneumatic automation systems.
Electropneumatic automation systems.
Automated systems with control from the controller (STL language).
Independent performance of the assessment task.
Autumn school classes will be held by the department's teachers. For one teacher, the number of students in theoretical classes will be no more than 16, in practical classes - no more than 8, in laboratory classes - no more than 4 (two teams of 2 students each).
Based on the experience of conducting similar educational events, the weekly school with theoretical, practical and laboratory segments provides a basic level of knowledge and skills sufficient to solve simple practical problems of creating mechanical-electronic automation systems.
Applied Fluid Mechanics and Mechanotronics Department of the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI named after I. Sikorskyi" and SE "FESTO" invite students to take part in the autumn school "Mechatronics" on the basis of the aforementioned department in the fall.
